CI Checked is an online identification verification service provided by Commercial Investigations LLC, subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth below. These Terms of Use are made between you and Commercial Investigations LLC.

  

Please read the following information carefully before using this site. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by the “Terms of Use.” If you do not agree with any of the Terms of Use below, do not access or otherwise use this site. Commercial Investigations LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, alter or otherwise update these Terms of Use at any time and by continuing to use the site after the posting of a modification, you accept the modification. The Terms of Use apply to all users of this site.

 

General Restrictions
  1. You agree that you are 18 years or older to use the CI Checked website.
  2. The materials including all associated services and materials contained within the CI Checked website may contain inaccuracies, typographical or other errors and are provide on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind.
  3. Commercial Investigations LLC makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the site or any of the materials or services contained in the databases utilized by CI Checked.
  4. You agree to use our information only for appropriate, legal purposes, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  5. All searches in databases used by CI Checked are tracked and you consent to such tracking and to the provision of all information about your use of our databases when required by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the law or to comply with a legal process.

 

Legal Restrictions
  1. You agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself as prompted by the informational forms on this website.
  2. If any information you provide is untrue or if Commercial Investigations LLC has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, Commercial Investigations LLC, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your access and refuse all current or future access to the CI Checked website and use of the services or suspend or terminate any portion thereof.
  3. Further, you agree that Commercial Investigations LLC will not be liable to you or any third party if your access to the CI Checked website is suspended or otherwise terminated.
  4. Furthermore, you agree that you will not use information obtained from the website to physically harm, harass, intimidate, defraud, or represent yourself as another individual.
  5. Violation of these terms will result in your immediate termination without prior notice.

 

Consent to Electronic Transactions

In order for Commercial Investigations LLC to electronically deliver a verification to you, you will need to give consent to receive and respond to information in electronic form.

You understand that any consent given here applies to the electronic transactions related only to my order for identification verification through cichecked.com. I understand that if I choose to withdraw my consent to electronic transactions related to my order for identification verification through the CI Checked website, I must submit a written request to: info@cichecked.com.  

 

You understand that the following hardware and software is required for me to access and retain the electronic records herein: An Internet Web Browser that is the equivalent of Internet Explorer Version 6.0.

 

Fees and No Refund Policy
  1. The fee that you are charged to order your CI Checked Certificate is a search fee only. You understand and agree to pay the search fee for all responses returned from our searches, even if said responses include “not able to verify at this time.”
  2. Commercial Investigations LLC enforces a “No-Refund Policy” and will not refund fees for certification of identity in which you entered incorrect information, nor is Commercial Investigations LLC obligated to re-run a report with corrected information at no additional fee.
  3. Any charge-backs resulting from an order that falls under the “No Refund Policy” will be sent to a collection attorney for immediate processing and will incur a $50.00 charge in addition to the disputed amount of each item disputed, and if not paid may results in adverse effects on the purchaser’s credit report.
  4. You understand that Commercial Investigations LLC will charge you fees as published on the CI Checked website each time a certification of identity is ordered. Commercial Investigations LLC reserves the right to change the fees charged for the use of the CI Checked website and these terms of use, at any time and for any reason.
  5. You understand that all charges for the CI Checked Certificate, purchased by you will be immediately charged to the credit card authorized by you. We reserve the right to change the amount of, or basis for determining, any fees or charges for services we provide, and to institute new fees, charges, or terms effective upon notice to you.
  6. Commercial Investigations LLC takes the issue of privacy seriously. We provide your credit card and billing information to third parties only to the extent necessary to complete your requested transaction. For example, CI Checked uses a third party credit card processor to handle credit card billing when you order a certification of identity from the site. This third party is limited to using the information we provide only for the purpose of payment to CI Checked.

 

User ID/Password Responsibility

To obtain the services offered on the CI Checked website, you will need to select a User ID and password upon completing the registration process. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your User ID and password and are fully responsible for all transactions using your User ID or password. You agree that under no circumstances will you provide your User ID or password to a third party. You agree to immediately notify Commercial Investigations LLC at info@cichecked.com of any unauthorized use of your User ID or password or any other breach of security, and to exit from your account at the end of each session. Commercial Investigations LLC cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

 
Copyrights, Trademarks and Intellectual Property

You acknowledge and agree that all content on this site is the copyrighted work of Commercial Investigations LLC and is protected by copyright laws. You acknowledge that Commercial Investigations LLC, the CI Checked logo, all page headers, graphics, and icons are service marks, trademarks and/or trade dress of CI Checked and that all other trademarks, product names, company names or logos on the site are the property of their respective owners. In addition to complying with all applicable laws, you agree that you will not use any such trademarks, service marks or other logos from this site. You acknowledge that CI Checked has expended substantial time, effort and funds to create and deliver the services and compile the data contained herein. The services and data are and will continue to be CI Checked or its third party content suppliers' exclusive property.

 
Termination

These terms are effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate these terms at any time by discontinuing use of the CI Checked website. Commercial Investigations LLC can terminate your access to any and all products and services obtained through the website at any time if in our sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of these terms. Upon termination, you must cease use of the site and destroy all materials obtained from such site and all copies thereof, whether made under these terms or otherwise.
