Compensation

This role ranges between $21.50 and $25.50 per hour.    

Role Overview

This role is for individuals who have developed strong competency in client communication and background screening processes. This position handles more detailed questions, resolves moderately complex issues, and consistently demonstrates independent problem-solving.

Core Responsibilities.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for advanced client inquiries and resolve moderately complex issues involving screening components, delays, or system functions.
  • Review and research issues using internal tools and communicate resolutions effectively.
  • Troubleshoot more complex account issues, process questions, and system errors.
  • Support client education by explaining screening processes, timelines, and product options.
  • Support efforts to retain existing clients by ensuring their continued success with our background screening, drug testing, and i9 services.
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to Client inquiries regarding background screening services.
  • Provide timely and accurate information regarding the status of background checks.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of Client interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a seamless service experience.
  • Uphold company policies and ensure Client satisfaction.


The Right Fit Has...

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred but not required. 
  • 2–3+ years of customer service in the Background Screening and Drug Testing industries.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve more complex client requests.
  • Strong understanding of background screening terminology and processes.
  • Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision for routine tasks.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Google Workspace and HubSpot.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple onboardings simultaneously.
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction, providing timely support and creating effective solutions. 
  • Consistently deliver amazing client experiences. 
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering exceptional service and maintaining client satisfaction.  
  • As a condition of employment, all employees are subject to, and must pass, a criminal background check for private investigative license by the NYS Department of State pursuant to Article 7 of the General Business Law.

This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office environment, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.  The employee must occasionally lift and move items up to 25 pounds.
