Compensation

This role ranges from $65,000 to $90,000 annually, plus commissions plus bonuses.

Role Overview

The Manager of Strategic Alliances is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing partnerships that drive business growth and create mutual value. This role serves as the primary liaison between the organization and its strategic alliances, ensuring alignment of objectives and successful execution of collaborative initiatives.

Core Responsibilities.


Partnership Development & Management

  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners that align with company objectives and market positioning.
  • Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements that deliver measurable business value.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of strategic alliances from initiation through renewal or conclusion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Create comprehensive partnership strategies that support overall business goals.
  • Develop joint business plans with partners, including clear objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams internally to ensure successful partnership execution.
  • Monitor partnership performance against established KPIs and adjust strategies as needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and executive teams to align partnership activities with company priorities.
  • Facilitate regular communication between internal teams and partner organizations.
  • Present partnership updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for partnership-related issues.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify opportunities for partnership expansion and increased collaboration.
  • Support revenue generation through partner channels and co-selling initiatives.
  • Develop programs that enable partners to successfully market and sell company solutions.
  • Track and report on partnership contribution to revenue and other business metrics.

The Right Fit Has...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or alliance management.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex partnership agreements.
  • Strong understanding of partnership models, go-to-market strategies, and channel dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
    Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions.
  • Project management experience with ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
  • Experience in the background screening industry (preferred).
    Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

As a condition of employment, all employees are subject to, and must pass, a criminal background check for a private investigative license by the NYS Department of State pursuant to Article 7 of the General Business Law.
